Photographer's Note

Very very rustic, good colors. But the focus is on the tree.. I'd like it to be closer, on the fence.

Great melange of colours. A bit more of depth would enhace the picture, but it could also ruin the composition - I don't know the whole set, just what I see.
Good job.

Yes, Pascal, I also think the fence adds depth to it; I also like the lovely pink flowers, the leaves on the ground and the trees with beautiful colours. It goes to my favorites!

Well I checked out your photos and I am drawn to this onw he most. I like usiing lines to draw the focus into the photo too. Nice capture here. Suggestion?? I would have moved my position so that the tree would not obstruct the view into the distance. I like the view to the right of the tree for the center focal point..

This is with a nice touch. An autumn foliage but with a touch of pastoral elements. The fence with its ageing and wrinkled detail, running diagonally and separating the bed of flowers and the fallen leaves makes a good content Pascal. The colors of autumn on the foliage in the background give its an airy and light contrast to this flowery background.

Beautiful composition with good color tones. I like the details on the wooden peaces like the fence. Could be a bit sharper for my liking though.

Hi! Pascal.
Bonjour!
I must appologisie for my lack of French, but I can but express my admiration for your scene only in english.
I am so envious of you being in the presence of this wonderfull view. I know when I get excited about an encounter like this, I need to take more time, and of course more pictures with slight variations on the theme.
This is definitely the best landscape I have seen in the last four months since I joined TE. and as such will be my favourite.
I have done a WS to conform (Loosely) with the 3rds rule and I love it more. This is a personal opinion of course, and I included a filter for taking the image to another stage, which is bridging the gap between painting with light and painting with pigment.
Thank you for sharing your world.
Mike.
