Photographer's Note
This is the first of a series of winter scenes at Bark Lake (Township of Barkmere), about 130 km north of Montreal in the Laurentian Mountains. Most winters the lake freezes enough to allow driving on it. The view is towards the landing where are grouped the boathouses used in the summer. The light is low and typical of cloudy winter days of nordic countries. Taken with Canon Powershot S100, only slight cropping.
