Photographer's Note
The end of a hot steamy august day at Bark Lake (130kms north west of Montreal). It was hazy and very calm, the kind of evening one does want to end.
Definitely shows that my old Canon S100 could have used a few more pixels to enhance the subtle hues...

The idea of letting the branched provide some forground adds perspective and gives a good framing. Good compositional choice. The scenary is beautiful and the texture on the water is great. It really reminds me of cano'ing trips in Sweden. I guess its the same sort of climate. My only nitpic is that I miss some more contrast overall. The haze is beautiful, but I think it can be preserved whilst increasing the contrasts. I'll try a workshop .
