Photographer's Note

It was 1995 and two artists, Sandra Bromley and Wallis Kendal decided to undertake a project intended as a monument for the new millennium. They sought out contributions from North and Central America, Ireland, South Africa and South Korea. Eventually, they acquired some 7,000 weapons of violence and deactivated them. There work is known as the "Gun Sculpture" and was photographed in the Glenbow Museum of Art and History. The overview will appear tomorrow.
