Blue Sunset, a photo from Manitoba, Prairies

Photographer's Note

Most of my sunset pictures are varying shades of pink, orange, gold and yellow. This one really stands out for me because of its color. The sky was overcast that day, and is reflected on a fresh water pond (man-made) in a goose sanctuary.

Scanned, and minor adjustments in Adobe.

My only regret is that I had not yet caught on to having my photos placed on CD at the time. This picture could have been so much better. Scanning it just does not do it justice.

I like the line of trees in the background and also the bottom with the pond reflecting th fading light. Two little problemns : the noise in the sky and the tilt from left to right.
