Looking up in the Broken Group - islands in Pacific Rim National Park on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
The islands are almost completely covered with old-growth rain forest right to the waterline. This old western red cedar lost its top a very long time ago and a new tree started.

Salut Dave,
Excellente prise de vue en diagonale de ce vieil arbre, qui malgré tout tient à la vie. Ce vieux tronc est très intéressant avec sa coiffure de branches et feuillages. Beau contraste de couleurs naturelles entre le vert.
