The long exposure has created a wonderful peaceful mood to the shot. Excellent colour and exposure. Well done Pat.

Gee, I wonder whose work this is? I spotted your style and quality in a sceond, Pat. A dreamy world. Cheers!

Really a good job. The 2 stop ND Grad Filter gives to the water the aspect of a cloud, i really like the effect. So mysterious.
Composition is classical and simple but really good. Congrats.

Brilliance! Those colors are just breathtaking. Coupled with a fantstic composition, words dont do this justice. This is art.

The light effect is simply amazing. I don't know if it's your filters, or a saturation operation, but the colors are very strong and soft at the same time. Composition (proportion sky-water, the position of the trees, time exposure) is perfect. Well done.

Very beautiful and serene, Pat, due to the outstanding composition. Really great colors, too. The contrast between soft clouds and hard stiff branches is excellent.

Très belle photo !
Les couleurs sont magnifiques.
Le paysage est superbe également.
Le fait d'utiliser un filtre ND donne cette sensation de coton.
J'aime beaucoup.
Felicitations !
Nico.

This is awesome Pat. I love the effect on the water...it looks like it is fizzing out onto land. Great exposure and composition.

Bonjour Pat,
et ravi de retrouver encore de superbes couleurs, rarement égalées , surtotu par moi qui ne les maitrise pas bien.
Ces bandes colorées horizontales sont en opposition avec ces arbres sombres verticaux, cela donne un superbe effet.
J'adore.
Well seen and done .
Daniel.

Still producing these amazing shots. There's not much to say really, its technically near-perfect. I suppose the only thing that I don't like is the frame, I think its to thick, but that's just my personal opinion.

Your photos are so beautiful, almost all of them are favorites by someone, and I think that at some point a few will be added to my list too. You seem to have such high standards for your posts here on TE! Long may it continue that you post shots as beautiful as this.
The mood you have created here is simply amazing, so peaceful and serene. The silhouettes are brilliant and really complete the photo.
Well done FAV!

Woow!!
to be honestly, i can't imagine that photo was taken really nature. but u made it, and i like more the fading clouds and lighting on the ground (i think that's water, isn't?). another POV is the 2 trees from the right side of ur's photo, they r making more attractive.
TFS,
Hlaing.

Hi again,
Superb composition and wonderful colours. Nice effect on the water because of the long exposure.

Most has already been said about this photo...
The only point where I think there's some room for improvement is in the frame, because the photo is flawless...
Great "work"

Hi Pat,
A truly outstanding work this is. I love the composition, but the lighting and colours are what really stand out here. The bright colour of the lake is particularly pretty, and you were there at the right time - but you know that already.

Quite simply a stunning photograph.
The trees are simply effective and the colours of the lake are very harmonic and just feel very serene and isolated.
You have a hell of alot fantastic photos on your profile. This is just one of those that I really like.
You do very well and when I finally get a canon 20D I hope to be able to produce something of an equal quality.
Thanks for sharing
Take care
