Le parc du mont-Orford fait partie du réseau des parcs provinciaux.C'est un endroit que je découvre pour la première fois en été.Nous y avons campés une semaine en ce début juillet.Les activités consistent en plage,canot et kayak,randonnée de montagne ainsi que vélo de montagne.Un golf se trouve à proximité ainsi qu'un camp musical l'été.Je connaissais cet endroit surtout l'hiver,pour le ski alpin et nordique(de fond)ainsi que la raquette.
Voici le lac Stukely et son ilot avec le mont Chauve,au loin à droite,le tout éclairé par le soleil couchant.La plage se trouve à droite,coupé par un petit ruisseau.

The mt-Orford park is a provincial park in the Sherbrooke city area.It is my first time here in summer.We camped(the four of us)for the week,early july.The activities are the beach,kayak,pedallo and canoe,forest and mountain walking and mountain bike.There is a golf nearby and a summer musical camp.
I am more familiar with the park in wintertime,having done my share of ski(downhill and X-country) and snowshoes.
You are seing the lake Stukely with its island,and the mt-Chauve in the back,on the right.The whole is seen under the setting sun.The beach starts on the right,after the small stream.

such a lovely place and the composition of this image is very nice with the reflection, cloud in the blue sky and lake. I would crop the bottom of the picture to get rid of land in the foreground.

Lovely composition and the colors are quite pretty. The sky is great and the clouds are very billowy. The orange thing is interesting and brings a touch of modernity.
the photo almost seems a bit tilted but not a big deal.

Hi Charles, A well captured beautiful scenery at the sunset. The colors and the reflections are very attractive. The clouds in the blue sky are nice additional decorations to the picture. Well done.

Salut Charles. Wow, a beautiful light you captured falling on the small island in the center. Very appealing and relaxing setting with the colors and the reflections. I also like how the shapes of the clouds seem to echo the curving outline of the mountain range to a certain extent. Well done.

What a clarity in this shot Charles, nicely seen this red glowing rock in contrast to the cool blue air and water, very nice clouds reflected in the water, perfect contrast handeling to get this deep natural coloring and a lot of diversity in this capture. This is an outstanding one.

Nice patterns of the clouds and a great landscape. Nice colours and the light is perfectly balanced. I like the way the small island is lit up by the sun in the middle of the lake.

sympathique composition qui donne envie de visiter. les couleurs sont fraîches malgé le solei couchant et les reflets dans l'eau sont bien réussis. Le petite langue de sable et la plage donnent un peu de profondeur.

Belle prise Charles, la lumière et la réflection sont admirable, bien cadré. Le focus aurait pû être légèrement plus au point, mais ce n'est que très mineur, ciel magnifique, bravo.

Je note un commentaire très intéressant.
La composition est intéressante quoique un peu soft.
Je suggère de faire attention sur la mise-au-point AF devant une étendue d'eau, comme pour le ciel et les photos nocturnes. J'ai eu ce même problème.

Les courbes de ce paysage sont très agréables à voir. Même le banc de sable du premier plan participe à l'harmonie de l'ensemble.

This is a very good effort but there are too many things that distract me. The plastic bouy and the uncertain foreground interest confuse and clutter the scene for me. Not as accomplished as other images in your gallery I think.
