Photographer's Note

5:00am on the East Coast Trail next to a small community called Tor's Cove.
The last night had been a bit stormy until the snow finally stopped and allowed me to put my nose outside.
That huge cloud is a remainder of the small storm, flying away straight into the rising sun and behind the island.
I haven't modified the colors, they were really like that for a few minutes. I had never seen so many shades of blue on the ice and snow around me before in my life (I had not even seen that much snow before goigng to Newfoundland to begin with)

This is a long exposure shot, around one minute, which gives that coton aspect to the cloud and the impression the sea is frozen (which wasn't the case).
