Photographer's Note

Another shot of a lovely house on Ile d'Orléans looking onto Mont Ste-Anne (ski resort) on the north shore of the St-Laurent river near Quebec city.

Here are some facts about the St-Laurent:
1600 km long from lake Ontario to the Atlantic;
(I roughly estimated the distance of Ile d'Orléans as being about 700 km from the Atlantic.
100 km large at the level of de Sept-Îles;
350 m deep at the level of de Mont-Joli;
It has 600 islands and 3 enlargments that make lakes;
350 rivers end up in the St-Laurent:
Tides can reach 7 m at at St-Franiçois of Ile d'Orléans;
It's water is salted up till Tadoussc and briny at Cap Tourmente near QUebec City.

60% of the population of the province of Quebec live in a city or village on it shore.

This little house looks like one a child would draw, with a very sloped roof, one door, and many windows. The only thing missing is smoke coming out of the chimney. Somebody made me notice how on the left gable roof we can see a face of someone surprised, yes I see it, cute...

why "daily life" category? Because this is not about nature, it's not really about architecture, it's about a daily life of looking at a beautiful panorama. What else could I choose ?

Auto level, cropped right side to remove a garden house, NeatImage, framed, saved for web.
