Duck Sunset, a photo from Manitoba, Prairies

Photographer's Note

Assiniboine River, near Headingley, Manitoba, Canada. On one of my daily evening photo excursions (almost daily, sometimes I actually work). The sunset was magnificent, the water was still, and the ducks kept swimming away from me when I tried to photograph them. This is the result. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out, let me know what you think.

Lovely picture. The sun reflection at 1/3 draws my eye and the dark borders lock me into the river section. Glad to see that Manitoba isn't entirely flat and featureless.

I like the little flotilla of ducks, like mini tugboats. Lovely colours and peaceful ambience.The slightly defused light adds to the mood. Well done. Regards. Klaudio
