Photographer's Note

“Joined at the Hip” is what I finally called these two houses built upon rock. These homes appear to be built on the upper battery just below the Queen’s Battery on Signal Hill. It must be very difficult to get to these homes when there is a lot of snow on the road. The roads are extremely narrow and dangerous even in the summertime. I used the five times telephoto lens to get a close shot. The dots in the sky are seagulls. As you can see, the Union Jack is proudly displayed.
