Squirrel, a photo from Quebec, Centre

Photographer's Note

A squirrel in Mont Royal parc in Montreal. It belongs to the "Eastern grey squirrel" specie, I believe. It's very common here in Quebec. You can see dozens of them in every bigger parc and they are quite used to people so they may approach very close, especially if you have food for them.

However, this one and a few others would flee when I was trying to take a shot of them and approached the camera to my eye. Finally I put the camera on the table and just used the LCD screen to take the picture.

Great job... you managed to take a simple, common subject (at least for people in North America) and make an interesting shot out of it. There is a lot of humor in it.

Cet animal est vraiment en vedette sur ce site et il le mérite. Très jolie photo bien nette, aux couleurs naturelles et pleine d'action. On voit bien sa patte avant gauche en mouvement.

trop mimi celui-ci...il porte bonheur, j'éspère que tu as fait un voeu en le photographiant....sa queue en panache , son pti corps de poil , sa pti
tête avec ses yeux trop malins... tous ces détails sont bien mis en valeur...du très bon travail...bi

L'écureuil est vraiment chou! Il me fait penser à Tic et Tac. Bravo!
