Photographer's Note
“Colorful Bauline East” is the name of this photo and it was taken on a recent trip on the southern shore. To the immediate right is the harbor were boats tie up. There is a tour boat which takes tourists and locals to look at the iceberg and whales. In fact you can see whales from the shore.
These colorful houses attracted my attention and needless to say I had to take several photographs.
If you noticed a sign next to the boat, it says hikers park here. However the boat beat them to it.
It was unusually hot and the first day of the food fishery where people are allowed to catch five fish per day.
This photograph was cropped, level adjusted, framed and saved for the web.

Jim,
Nice composition and POV placing the boat in the foreground with the colorful houses in the background. The boat gives the photo a nice sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail.

Well done jim, Really like the colors also, some of these older homes that have been restored are well worth the effort for the owners. I like how you also left the boat in the frame, gives it just that little extra. I thought that was an East Coast Trail marker, do they have the trail completed in that area now? Rodney
