Photographer's Note

I have just invested in a new scanner and have been having fun going through some old photos from my first years of photographic experimentation...in those heady hippie days of carefree wanderings :-)
Of course this was a setup shot of a woman in her early pregnancy...my idea being to have this symbolic light of life cresting on her developing womb.
I know there is nothing new about either the sun or pregnancies for that matter, but the idea that the sun must rise and set 266 times before birth comes struck me as one of life's wonders.
The original print photo has faded over time but I think the warmth of that Mexican sunset is still very much alive in my memory:-) Sorry I can't remember back that far for setting details.
