Photographer's Note
This poor big crock was kept in a large enclosure at the resort we stayed at near Punta De Mita. They apparently feed him once a week and he still had several days to go before they would feed him again. He looked a bit hungry to me...

You sure got a nice portrait of him, even his shiny white teeth! The textures of the rock he's sitting on is an interesting contrast to his scaly skin.

The lighting here is great as it helps add a lot of differing textures to photograph. There's the grainsy sand, his leathery skin and the smooth rock. It flows all together very nicely. You also did a nice job capturing not only his teeth, but his claws as well - something I never really looked at on a crocodile until now. Nicely done.
