Photographer's Note
An old man trudging up the hill with his bicycle at the end of a long day. Fifteen years ago he would likely pedal up; now he walks.

A fine long perspective and the man adds a lot to the quality of the picture, both as a human presence and by illustrating the grade of the road.

Hi Animesh!
This is a highly thematic picture, especially in view of your note. I also find the ambience of the street interesting.

Another excellent catch from San Cristobal de las Casas, Animesh. A beautiful composition as the man is walking beside his bike, with the wires above and the street behind him adding a nice movement to the composition. I like your bw treatment and the mood... a really nice work, Animesh!

Hi Animesh. Good shot, I like the view over the city and the road arching down the hill and of course, the man pushing his bike. Nice job, it's a good scene.

I really like the perspective of the lines that curve downhill. very nice how the power lines follow the curve.
nice grain, seems to add some age and mood to the shot.

The light on the gradient of the road makes the image stand out. Reminds me of a story by Bates, 'The Ox'.

terrific shot. The composition is excellent. Inclusion of the cyclist is a nice idea. The converging road gives a sense of dynamism and speed in it.

Hello Animesh,
A picture that tells a story. The key is perhaps the long road he has been walking , and yet he has to reach the top. I like the way you have shown everything including the whole town.
Many thanks - Izzet

Animesh!..
A wonderful example of the rule of thirds & the profile in excellence!..
The subject just takes you in a trip along the frame slowly bringing all the ineteresting details in front of the eyes!.
Great Job.
Cheers,
Prem.
