Photographer's Note
Those of you who've been here as long as me may remember Ryan Thayne (euryan), who used to post here. He had a great talent in his later years on this site for minimalist photos. That sort of minimalism was what I was going for here.
Those two pinkish-purple beams of light in the sky aren't anything from the resort. They're the light that my camera picked up in the predawn light of a beautiful sunrise in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. A simple and minimalist shot, but I like it.

Hi Clark. The so called minimalist approach has its own impact. Wonderful shades of blue nicely accentuated by your natural pink beacons. The sea looks mysterious and so does the whole image. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Clark
Indeed those clouds like beams of light. The pink colour contrasts nicely with the blue of the sky and water.
You certainly achieved your goal - this is landscape minimalism at its very best!
Best wishes

Hello, your image has nice colors from the sky being reflected on the water that give the image a beautiful dreamy quality.
Good choice for a vertical format. Photographs at the seaside are so pretty you can hardly go wrong. The light, the water, the quality of clouds are ecver changing.
TFS,
Karen
