Photographer's Note
I followed the well-worn path east, starting near the Chamber with Masks for a distance of 110 metres, reaching what may well have been a major residential area. Here, two items are of interest. First, this stela of Yum Keep, the Maya god of the phallus and/or fertility that faces to the west. There appears to have been a phallic cult among the Maya over many centuries. Second, a pyramid with a circular temple structure on top.
