Photographer's Note

In the town of Fischbachau in Upper Bavaria there are two churches, yesterday I posted a photo of the Maria Schutz Church, today a photo of the monastery church of St. Martin. In WS you can see the photo of the church as a whole from the outside.

The Benedictine monastery church was consecrated in 1100, in 1492 it was destroyed by a fire, then the church was rebuilt and in 1628 renovated in Baroque style.
The church has very rich stucco decorations and 73 beautiful frescoes, the high altar is dated back to 1700 and is built in the Rococo style.
