Hi Brigitte,

An welcome on TE.
I also like black and white photos.Yours has an interesting composition,with a dramatic atmosphere,with a cloudy sky and the litte island in the mist of the back ground.
Maybe the foreground is a bit too dark,but we look at this shot and we are realy in the heart of winter.
Brrrrr.

Ich habe ein ähnliches Foto aber noch nicht hochgeladen. Wollte es "have a seat" nennen. Wir haben wohl einen ählichen Geschmack. :-)

Good shot to start with, Brigitte. Good idea to leave some road in the frame on the right, this makes the composition more interesting.

Brigitte, what a nice picture! Very relaxing. Very soothing.
The tones are interesting...It's b/w, but on my display, it almost look like there is some green left in it...
That photo means traveling and nostalgia to me. I love it.

Hello dear Gigi, I thought I would have a look at your first photo here on TE. It is extremely good. The low POv is what makes it so interesting and the perspective created between the 2 benches. I like the gloomy dramtic atmosphere of this composition. The way you've framed it gives a special touch to these two empty benches as if they were having some sort of silent conversation.
