Photographer's Note

Today (12th May) it was the luckiest photo-day of this year so far :-))) On this photo you can see the former residence of Polish kings - Wawel Castle in Krakow. (and also two Baroque churches St. Ann's and Carmelites). But there's one exeptcional thing here - the background. Behind the highest tower (named Clock Tower) Tatra Mountains are visible !!! (this is the highest part of Western Carpathians) The distance between castle and mountain range in the straight line = 95 kilometers.

I wish I could have Nikkor AF-S 600mm f/4D IF-ED II instead of my Nikkor 18-200 ;-P

The last time when I've seen Tatra Mountains FROM KRAKOW was in... 1987. The is very unique situation because of the weather (clouds, fogs, etc.) or pollution.
