With a total area of about 106,400,000 square kilometres (41,100,000 sq mi),it covers approximately 20 percent of the Earth's surface and about 29 percent of its water surface area. The first part of its name refers to Atlas of Greek mythology, making the Atlantic the "Sea of Atlas".

gran colpo, il bambino sembra disperso in questa spiaggia. Il panorama è bellissimo e la composizione della foto ottima, usi spesso questi tagli verticali che mi piacciono molto.

Salut, Daniel! Frumos! Unde anume e locul asta, in oras sau in vreo statiune de langa?
Ma pregatesc de o calatorie la Lisabona si mi-ar prinde bine o parere avizata: merita un drum la Cascais in conditiile in care as vrea sa vad si Sintra si pentru asta am doar 1 zi?

Hello Daniel,
The young man and the sea. A good composition of the seemingly almost empty beach, where the diagonal white surf separates brown from blue. I like the three shades of brown where the beach gets gradually wetter.

A deserted but idyllic beach with one visitor, it is the perfect shot standing for dreaming, peace and freedom. There is no modern pressure, but loads of time for the lonely visitor. Excellent photo job

You have captured a lovely graduation of colour across the FG sand Daniel and I like the way the diagonals continue across the sea through the direction of the waves. The sliver of land and lone figure add a perfect punctuation to this attractive blue and yellow composition. Warm regards rosemary

Nice warm vs cold color contrasts between the blue sea and sky and the yellow red tinged sand. The small child on the beach animates the shot and provides a good reference point. Excellent sharpness and density. Tfs!

The first which catch eye is POV. Very good idea, so we have perfect angel to see beach with person. Second, vertical is more interesting in this case.

An amazing shot here ;) I like the decision you made to split the sky/earth in 2 equal parts, it works just fine here with the opposition between warm sand and cold sky colors !!!
And the little girl brings life to the composition
Even the far away city in the background contributes to the right balance of the image

this is the side of Lisbon and its surrounding I didn´t discover so well(unfortunately for me).
But your capture is great-simple,but very expressive in its perception(because of so delightful,vivid colors and strong contrast between them).

Wonderful shot, I love the simplistic nature of this image...sun, sea and sand! :) The tones are rich, the detail sharp and the vertical layout a perfect choice to create layers and depth.
