Timeless Nile, a photo from Luxor, Inland

Photographer's Note

Here is another picture taken on the same day, but in a different place. There was a mist on the Nile on that day , and I was happy to see the top of a hill over it. The sun was in front of me and I got some reflections on the water, but it was far for being a very clear day. There was no wind and the reflections were almost like those of a mirror.. I also got a small boat. Why such a high speed will ask some .. Frankly I wanted a high speed in order to have a very sharp picture,because of the boat's motion but not that much..

Great shot! Very delicate light and a beautiful scene. When I saw this I immediately was reminded of the watercolour paintings of Turner. Excellent work!

beautiful tones, the mist provide good contrast for the silhouette trees and the boat is the good bonus to compliment the scene
