Photographer's Note
It was on the beach, and also raining. Everyone stayed inside the shelter. The rain was fading, and I was also looking for a picture opportunity. This woman came out of the shelter, looking out to the sea. Her face seemed so worried. That she was in between the curtains, I thought it should make a good composition by putting her in between. I did not want her to notice that she was being taken a picture, and so I must execute as fast as I can. I get a bad focus, still, in this picture if you notice it. The focus is on the left curtain, a little bit beyond her face.

I like the composition and depth of field. It does not make sence to repete what you already know about focus. Probably you can create another layer sharpening woman's face. Also, you may try to increase color contrast. I hope this helps.

Very good expression captured. She does look worry. A nice moment captured with her framed by the curtains. I like it! TFS and have a happy day!

Fabulous composition with such class and panache. i love the way you have used a minimalist approach. Those soft hues are superb. Overall a great classic shot Sothy

Nice composition, the depth of field centered on the woman and the blurry background helps to heighten her presence.

Hi Sothy, Great image, showing us that simplicity often works well. As you say it is a shame that the focus was tricked by the fabric, but not enough to ruin it. Well seen. Cheers, Steve

A nice, tender portrait, Sothy and made spectacular by framing her in that stark and facinating setting. regards kevin

Hi Sothy,
C'est une magnifique photo.
La trame du tissus crée un fond unicolor faisant bien ressortir les trait de ce portrait.
Et hop dans les favoris.
Bonne journée

Hi Sothy,
Ah!... Another of those impressive portraits of yours!... You have such an eye to catch peoples expressions... I guess that 200mm gives a hand, but that only happens because you have the inspiration and skill to take profit of it. In front of such a great work, I don't resist being very picky, so I'll point you the only very minor details that I don't find perfect: a tiny white spot the upper lip and the DOF, which should include one or two of inches more of the BG, so the face could be sharper.
Regards, José.

I think you've managed well to focus on the lady Sothy - it isn't easy when you are in a hurry not to be seen :)
It's a well composed image, and her blue clothes stand out really well

Another great shot, excellent timing in how you saw and captured this one. Her eyes are looking deep and far away, concentrated and the blue from her dress adds great colour to that neutral grey all around her...great shot.

Hi Sothy,
The compo is as simple as it is efficient! You have the perfect selective focus blurring the BG and keeping the left 1/3 of the image well sharp with this woman a good subject.
Fine timing and realisation
Greetings
Laurent
