Photographer's Note

Sur les sentiers du Loiret on peut découvrir des constructions très pittoresques destinées à abriter les barques des propriétés dont la plus célèbre est attribuée à Garnier , architecte de l'Opéra de Paris.
On découvre aussi des moulins comme celui de Saint-Julien l’un des plus importants de la rivière, il connut une intense activité pour la production de la farine, avant de devenir une élégante maison d’habitation.

Un format parfaitement composé.ici les couleurs de l'automne créent une parfaite harmonie de couleurs avec le bleu de ce ciel agréablement chargé.Ce qui est agréable dans ce type d'image est que l'eau agit comme un filtre polarisant en densifiant les couleurs du ciel.

I like very much this panoramic frame and the exquisite depth and details we find in it. The lovely rustic building is so nicely tucked into this beautiful scenery. I think it was a brilliant idea to give little space to the sky and much more to its reflection in the calm water. The textures have a fascinating naturalness and the light touches each texture and colour differently. I appreciate very much the fine presentation of the house in the workshop. Bonjour Didi,

Beautiful photo and the large version is even more impressive with so much detials. I love the reflection in th ewater like a post impressionistic painting. The WS is also very nice with the Garnier House.

Les reflets sur l'eau de la rivière sont des atouts à la composition. La largeur de la rivière donne de la profondeur à l'image. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du moulin. La qualité de la lumière embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

I prefer smaller shots, like 1200 px, when I can see the whole composition, without too much scrolling. On the other hand, one can see more details on the bigger photo.

That's almost perfect mirror water reflections, one of the cool features along the riverfront covering a fair space and depth. Indeed a picturesque spot for relaxation for it looks so peaceful! with wonderful dark water creating such a subtle contrast to the sky and the brightly lit boat house. A delightful shot and your usual seamless photo works. Congrats.

C'est très joli, calme, paisible, douceur des couleurs d'automne et de la lumière, le plus avec les reflets, j'aime beaucoup la maison en WS, elle serait bien dans un conte de fée :-)
Grosse blessure a la patte de Jessie, fait tantôt dans le bois, si c'est pas refait pour les vacances en Autriche il faudra lui mettre une botte :-) la pauvre elle qui aime tant la neige,

Une belle vue,très bucolique et qui respire le calme et la sérénité.
On imagine bien les tableaux qu'auraient pu faire de ce paysage des peintres impressionnistes comme Monet ou Sisley.Tout à fait le genre de sujet qu'ils affectionnaient.
J'aime beaucoup ce large premier plan d'eau, avec ces teintes très douces et qui reflète les nuages du ciel.

Belle composition.

Bonjour Didi,

These are the hidden little gems that generally go unnoticed by the masses. A smart visualization and keen eye of the scene has transformed a relatively quiet and unassuming little spot along the river into a beautiful and most peaceful image. I like how you've cropped out most of the sky, while leaving a larger part of the reflection to draw in towards the main subject. Nice soft light and sharp detail, this looks quite inviting. :) Bonne journée.

j'ai pu jouir la grande netteté de cette image, ainsi que l'haute qualité de ses couleurs dans la Large Version, bien que dans ce format aussi on peut d'apprécier tout ça.
C'est un bel endroit de la rivière, avec la jolie maison et son embarcadère au milieu d'un paysage naturel très attrayant, où les couleurs d'automne ajoutent une grande beauté.
Belle réalisation, l'assemblage de trois photos est superbe.

The long panoramic frame is just right here, and you filled it well... the water surface with it's reflections occupy most of the photo, and the colors are so nice. The white building draws the eye.. a former water mill. Not a bad place to live!!
Well composed with a lovely tranquil atmosphere.
