Une autre vue du méandre sous le soleil
La Sioule est une rivière française d'Auvergne, qui prend sa source à proximité du lac de Servières. Elle s'écoule d'abord vers le nord puis vers le nord-ouest à partir de Pont-de-Menat (à proximité du village de Menat), avant Ébreuil. Elle a une longueur de 150 km. La plus grande partie de son parcours se situe dans la région des Combrailles en Auvergne : 90 km dans le Puy-de-Dôme et 60 km dans le département de l'Allier.

Hello Didi,
An excellent downwards point of view on this meandering river. The larger version is quite spectacular. The image is pleasantly lit and has agreeable natural tones. Very good sharpness.

Bonsoir Didi,
Moins impressionnante que la vue postée en 2007, celle-ci montre une approche différente qui n'en est pas moins intéressante. Amputé d'une partie de sa course (ce que je trouve un peu dommage), le méandre crée l'illusion de deux rivières qui vont se rejoindre. Bonne luminosité propice à un beau jeu d'ombre et de lumière. La version large est vraiment belle et mérite que l'on s'y attarde.

Hello Didi,

Beautiful nature shot, love the play of light and shadow, giving many different shades of green. Along with the river giving the feeling of tropical rain forest mood. Just lovely colors and good composition and POV.

C'est très beau ce méandre, long lacet bleu marine sillonnant entre de petits canyons aux verts en camaïeu. J'aime beaucoup.

Je ne savais pas qu'il existait des méandres aussi serrés en France. L'environnment de la Sioule semble très sauvage à cet endroit, avec cette eau très noire et ces collines boisées qui descendent jusqu'aux berges. Un lieu original photographié avec une belle lumière qui met en valeur les nuances de vert.

You're capturing well this landscape by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see two meandering rivers in deep forest. It's interesting that there are meandering another direction, too. And, It gives the sign of autumn that a yellow leaf is seen for a while in deep green trees.

we have a big meander with shapes similar with this one, but this one can be photographed from a high pov while ours only by plane.nice view of the natural shapes. excellent details of the enviroment around.

This is a breath taking shot depicting topography of the green landscape taken from exciting aerial viewpoint and overwhelmingly special watching deep below enhancing the height and depth.
