Photographer's Note

The hot air balloons set up in an open field and all seem to be crowded together. As they are filled and begin to rise they jostle opne another for space. Standing directly underneath these giants is fun and exhilarting.
"Geometry (Ancient Greek: γεωμετρία; geo- "earth", -metron "measurement") is a branch of mathematics concerned with questions of shape, size, relative position of figures, and the properties of space." Evidence of geometry in nature can be found all around. We recreate geometry in figures to help give us balance. Our eye seems to seek out a balance between shapes, sizes and lines which in turn provides us with a sense of harmony.
Please enjoy my photo from the 5th Annual Citrus Classic Balloon Festival.
