Photographer's Note

The Graduate Library at the University of Illinois. The building was finished around 1924 and offers beautiful windows with stained glass, murals, and other handsome details that you don't often see these days.

This is the "front door" to the library and the building holds all the different disciplinary libraries (modern languages, geography, philosophy, etc.) and entry to the main "stacks" which are modern additions to this building. The holdings of the library are legendary, being the largest library for a state university.
