You've got stuff for a couple of nice picture here, but it doesn't work nicely together as one picture here.
The seagull on top of that - eh, thing - coulde be subject of a nice picture in itself, but the houses in the background are disturbing, and the relation between the - hmm, thing (I'd wish I knew what it was called in english) and bridge pylon as elements in the composition lacks tension.
It might be worth it trying to take a step or two to the right to separate the two shapes, and put them on a nice diagonal in the picture, and maybe even get some clear sky as background for the seagull.
Or take two pictures: one concentrated on the seagull (and the - thing - ), and another one focused on the bridge.

I disagree...I think it is a good photo, since you successfully put in a nice perspective such opposites on the one hand, and managed to "persuade" the bird to pose for you in this noisy, hectic environment on the other.Congratulations on a nice photo,Liora and good luck on TE

I like these "tourist shots" but with an animal in front of the target (see my gibraltar shots). Great composition! Maybe you could crop out some of the bottom though.

Ce qui est intéressant sur cette photo c'est le comportement interrogatif de la mouette et finalement on en oublie un instant l'arrière plan.

very funny it's look like the seagull is modeling for you .I like the picture although the bird is not clear enough with the building on the back...
