Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on 4th of July 1990 from the top of the Empire State Building. It was taken with a Praktica BCX camera. I have scanned it to the PC and recoloured it slightly using Paint Shop Pro, this i feel, makes it more atmospheric.

Nice one Michael, I agree with you on the mood that the colour toning sets. There is a slight tilt to the left, but I actually like that, it adds to the dazzling height. Well done!

It is very atmospheric. Very nice colors to it. It gives the city a very golden feel. Not only does it highlight the buildings nicely but that golden feel gives a hint at all the money being transferred behind these facades. I like how the distance just blends in a way with the sky. Very nicely presented.

Real moody photo - I was there back in 1979 but I'm not sure if I got this photo - very nice thanks for sharing.

It is of course one of the most photogenic views in the world. And your postprocessing is very nice. What attracts me most though, I must admit, is the thought of that lovely old Lovin Spoonful song. Thaks for sharing.

What a view! Wellknown but still interesting because of the colour treatment. A how nice to see a picture on TE made by the Praktica BC X, a sturdy cam that I used with pleasure some years.
