Photographer's Note

I've gone back and started this one over making a couple modifications. Nothing drastic, but I did clone out the offending shoulder and used a bit more contrast this time.. but only a smidgen. Thanks for all the help everyone.
For many of the people who take part in re-enactments of the civil war, it's a very personal thing. The purist take great pains to keep their dress and demeanor appropriate for the era. In this scene taken during a parade, this woman appears to hurry along as though on a somber mission. Looking at this, I can almost imagine a woman hurrying down the street with an urgent task during the battle that occured here in 1863.
