Taken at Universal Studios on one of the city streets. This statue seems to be a favorite resting spot for the gulls. Anyway I have always liked the effect of a zoom on compacting the view. brings everything to the forefront. Kind of makes it too busy. But interesting all the same.

Poor statue with this bird on his head, I don't like them flying over me, especially the pigeons, but I believe the gulls can make the same dirt! Very nice urban scene captured here, with a lot of interesting details to see, everything captured with very good light and sharpness! Great job!

Hello Jimmy,
I like this tight and well framed photo with an attractive vertical accent. The bird sitting on the statue's head may be the main eye-catcher but the hotel sign is just as important for the composition. B&W was a good choice in this case and the contrasts are very nice.

Hello, Jimmy!

Most people associate LA with films and movies but it appears they don't have a monopoly. Seagulls and pigeons have become a real problem in some European cities and some have installed netting to prevent the birds roosting and doing indignant things to the statues and sculptures. Good sharpness, tonal range and tight framing. Tfs!

Je ne sais pas il y a quelque chose de spécial comme lien entre les photographes en goguette, les mouettes et les statues dans nos grandes villes. Mais le thème est souvent utilisé. Beau noir et blanc.

before looking at the location of this photo i tried to guess, i guessed SF - I was totally wrong.

I'd have a sad look on my face too if birds kept landing on my head and pooping haha. and ya, the visual effect of zooming in creates unique perspectives, i like it as well. the busy nature of the all the subjects is fine to my eye
