Photographer's Note
Into "The New Wave". In an attempt to protect the area from visitors, a guiding path has been outlined with loose stones. I'm not certain how successful that will be as there are no restrictions on the number of people who are allowed into the area nor are there any signs posted suggesting that those visiting walk on durable surfaces only. Hopefully the beauty and photogenic properties of the area will remain for more than a few years now that it is "on the map" (literally as well as being known to photographers).
This is a view of the west side of the area looking south.

Almost surreal with this view. I like the the lone man standing as to be looking at the path laid before him. Great timing on this one.
