A dead tree in Hidden valley, Joshua tree national park. Not sure about the species (if someone can help...). Post processed with silver efex pro.
Enhanced contrast playing in curves in the workshop posted after Antonio Ribeiro's critique. Comments are welcome.
Update: yes, after seeing the workshops I agree this version is way too grey and lacks tonal range.

It is a nice shot with a good composition and excellent definition. However, I think it is too grey and lacking contrast. Did you try auto-levels in photoshop?
