Photographer's Note
On my last trip to Yosemite I saw an extremely rare wildcat hunting in the daylight. It was very intent on stalking prey, and was somewhat comfortable seeing humans (it's Yosemite Valley after all), so I was able to stalk it through the bush for a bit without coming off as a threat. Tragically, I only had a 100mm lens as my longest focal length. But through very patient stalking over the course of a half hour, I was able to get close for this shot as the cat was spotting a ground squirrel. This is a crop from the original, but I was very close. A beautiful creature.

This wildcat does seem to have a very intense look to it which you have captured well. Good DOF also. The three boulders nicely frame the wildcat on the lower left side.

Amazing shots, especially considering you only have 100mm lens.
Exposure looks a bit over though. Bobcat fur usually a bit darker.
Good DOF as Adam already commented.

Wow, this photo really is excellent, knowing the story about how it was taken. Cheers for being able to get that close.

What a beautiful cat! and the blurriness behind makes him look even more magestic... Good job on the stalking and on the final result!
