Photographer's Note
Fall aspens on the Mill Creek Basin trail - Rocky Mountain National Park.
This is a quiet trail to nowhere .. mostly it just is a connecting route between some of the major trail systems in the park .. but a great place for Fall color. According to a ranger I spoke to this thick strip of aspens is here because early on this was the main logging area for the town of Estes Park .... the trees for the Stanley Hotel came from this area. The aggressive aspens took over but will eventually be naturally replaced by other species.

Hi John. Great capture of the beautiful aspens. These are my favorite trees. I love how they seem never ending here with all that yellow in the background. I would try to lighten the image up just a tad. I think it would help a bit.

Hi John,
Lovely shot of these trees, well framed with the trees in foreground and the yellow in the back ground.

Hello John,
Now this would be a shot that Bev Doolittle would have been impressed by, as I was in first seeing it — in the random order in which your images appear. The colors of fall (in fact, my sister, was born in London fifty years to the day before you shot this magnificent photo. The composition, colors, definition singles this out as one of my favorites of TE. How is it that 235 people before me visited this photo, and only three gave it smileys? Excellent note to boot!
Warm regards,
Bulent
