Photographer's Note

Kilauea Lighthouse is perched on a bluff and represents the northernmost point of the main Hawaiian Islands. When it was builtin 1913, it had the largest clamshell lens in existance and was used until the mid "70's when it was replaced by a beacon. The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook
