Sunset chess game, Waikiki Beach, Oahu, Hawai'i

On the promenade on Waikiki beach outdoor chess games are played every evening as the sun sets.

As I was waiting in the queue at a restaurant across the road (named "Cheeseburger in Paradise"!), I saw the scene, selected a 28-200mm lens and 81B warming filter, and crossed the road.

I'm sorry I can't tell you who won as I went back for the burger!

Really nice. The yellow lighting is superb. Not sure if there's visible grain on the mans face or if its just his natural texture. Still, a great moment captured.
