Las Vegas Strip, a photo from Nevada, Ouest

Photographer's Note

This is a picture taken from our hotel looking over the Las Vegas strip. As usual there were some minor problems with the window reflection, but turned off all lights inside, and that took care of the problem. Many of the hotels are in view from this picture, but there is constant brightness here. Across the way is the Treasure Island and they have battles most of the night with their pirate ship. That is part of the source of the light down there. They have fireworks, explosions etc. Seldom here it through the thick glass. No we did not win any money. aaagh. I think I should have edited the tungsten color from the shot, but that is what I got.

Hi Roger
I think you're aware that i'm a big big fan of Las Vegas, travelling there numerous times... and I actually own a single family house there aswell which i have rented out year round. If I could move to Vegas I would!!

For this photo, i take it the scene was captured from the Wynn? Its really hard to capture these scene's through thick glass, so i'm not going to complain about that.
What i really enjoy here is the fact its a view of the strip I've never seen before. The colors are captivating. Well done.

Hi Roger, It was good for you to stay in such a high hotel, the view from above is fantastic. They do not economize on lights. I do not remember Palazzo, but I went to see the battle of pirates, it was fun with all explosions. But i like more the show with fountains, it was really beautiful. You got gorgeous view of the strip, sharp in spite of the glass, very clear. Well done.

Those illumination accross the strip, really have some magic on people, and that way they just keep on gambling...
Beautiful night scene, well manage light and colors.

panoramic the night view over the Las Vegas strip,with everything to be floodlight from the lights of the city.
I like the tall buildings with the glance to lost on the dark of the horizon.

Hi Roger,

Using a tripod and a shutter spped of 3 seconds is allowing me to see the details and colors of the Las Vegas Strip. It has also a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

it's incredible night scenery in this town. There are some amazing bright shades here. I look at this city as if I already saw the future, because I'm not used to see this:-) I can see your face reflected in the piece above, just over the night.

Hello Roger,

I spent a few days in Las Vegas in 2008 but didn't stay in a high-rise hotel like this. I can still see your reflection top right, but it actually adds to the composition in my view. Gives it a 'a vip is watching all of this look', if that makes sense. Your reflections looms over the city larger than life! Tfs!
