Photographer's Note
This is Punchbowl Falls on Eagle Creek in Oregon. It is 35 feet high and about 10 feet wide. The falls' name is a very descriptive one, as it's easy to see it's resemblance to an actual bowl you'd pour punch into. Because of this unique look, this waterfall was entirely responsible for the waterfall classification type of "punchbowl", though it's rather hard to find another waterfall that fits the characteristics so well.

Hello Julie,
The sharpness was a little off due to who knows what, maybe the unipod you were using for a tripod. The depth was very good and the lighting just a little too bright. I did a workshop for you with the changes I made, per my memory of what it looked like today.
Good job,
Steve

Hi Julie;
I guess it's only fair that if I critique your sisters shot of Punchbowl Falls, I do the same for you ;-)
To be honest, I prefer this one more as there seem to be less noise then your sisters shot (possibly due to a different camera). However, I would like to see the same sharpening on this shot as your sister did to hers...
As I mentioned in my other critique; it kind of reminds me of waterslides with the smooth bit before the drop off...
Cheers Julie!

You got the flowing water thing down it looks like Julie! Very nice, funny we posted the same shot, we must be sisters or something. :-)
I agree that it needs some sharpening, I think the first one I posted needed more also. Yours looks much more like the classic Punchbowl Falls photos with the flowing water though, nice shot.
