Hi Rosie - excellent B&W graphics here, the light is really great as are the shadows. The note is excellent, a great description!

Hi Rosie,
A wonderful picture of berries that are delicious. You mention their red glory and I think it is a pity that your picture is not in color. Otherwise is a typical Rosiegirl picture, very artistic with a lot of feeling.

You set off the raspberries nicely by keeping the background simple, Rosie, and by having the light on them like a spotlight. A nice simple composition with the hands making a V, I like it! Perhaps you could bring out even more texture with higher contrast, particularly in the hands, but it looks nice as it is now. Regards, Ken.

Hi Rosalie,
I like this close up very much. The B&W enhaces the already good lighting and the focus and compo is great. But perhaps its slightly too soft. Also quite interesting that you didn't go for colour version to show the pinkiness of the fruit and instead went for the B&W. Nicely done.
Hv a nice weekend,

Hi mmm Rosie,
Right now, mmmm, in front of mmmme.. are juicy mmmmm raspmmmberries... Believe mmmme, they are mmmmm so goooood! Let me finish mmmm my plate first... ;)
Dear Rosie, I was really eating some raspberries before seeing your photo. But sadly enough, I bought them already packaged at the market. I love your picture. It is like if you are giving us a gift. A simple and great gift. I love the light and the shadow. BUT, one regret: the color. Where is the red, red glory?

Hi Rosalie,
Nice choice for B&W but your original inspired me to do a WS. Hope you like it.

Hi Rosie, what a lovely note, and how happy we can be with these things that come to us by it's own.
The funny thing is that you write about the red glory, but do not share that with us ;-) Nevertheless, your trseatmesnt is very nice. I love these handful of raspberries, which have the softest feel in your mouth you can wish for.

Hi Rosalie, you had a good idea of composition with those (hum) lovely raspberries... Seems that you also had a good light...

Rosie, I'll come right out and say it: you are one of the genuine artists on this site, and you have a style all your own, more miniaturist than minimalist, if that makes sese. Intensely poetic too. Jinju put it very well here, about you suggesting the RED but sticking to BW - brilliant. Lesser stars would have used some nasty denaturation but not our Rosie, no...
I applaud this effort for its guts and originality.
Best,
Francis

brave brave. And I like your note very much. You tempt us with your words of red glory yet you stick bravely to b/w. A bit provocational, I admire your bravery here Rosie very much. In the photo itself I like the beautiful light falling on the berries. The hands are a nice element too for me. They frame the beries but also have their own story to contribute.

Hi Rosie,
Great, poetic note! I like the picture too, only I would have cropped just a tiny bit from the bottom.
Great light and veined arms!
Congratulations!

Rosie,
Your photos have turned a corner with this shot, which is reinforced in your next shot. You have taken a giant leap into classicism of the best kind. This one is miraculous.
