Photographer's Note

Maybe in twenty years this family will look at this picture similar to mine but without the camera and tripod in the way, and maybe they will have huge smiles on their faces making fun what they were wearing, how horrible their hairstyle was and of course that the kids had grown so much in the meantime and how fast everything went. Don’t we all go through our photo albums sometimes, making fun of father’s hat and what fancy shoes mother was wearing and how pretty she was when she was younger?

It was a cute family and they had a lot of patience with “father” as he was like me taking pictures, many of them, shown before when he was on the ground taking a close-up of … well I don’t know really … salt probably.

They did not mind when I took pictures of them and their smiles became even a little bigger. Taken on the Bonneville Salt Flats just some minutes away from the Nevada border.
