Photographer's Note

I was taking a break and looking down from my office at the crowds of Christmas shoppers at the gigantic toy store across the street. That raven flying in from the East caught my eye, and I got lucky catching it flying over the flat roof. The Cropped out some uninteresting pipes that snake across the roof. Played with different croppings, ended up settling on this one.

It's an excellent crop. The lines of the roofcladding are nicely balanced in the frame and they even suggest a "road" for the raven to travel along. Well seen and well cropped.

Very nice picture. At first, I was a bit confused as I thought the bird was flying over a flat landscape with rivers. That would have meant that it was a huge bird, creating an even larger shadow on the 'earth'. But then I read your comment and saw that it is flying over a roof.
