Photographer's Note
Looking north from Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park you can see the Strait of Juan de Fuca which separates the U.S. and Canada. In the distance, some 40 mi. away, is Vancouver Island and the city of Victoria. To the right of Vancouver is Friday Harbor of the San Juan Islands. On the near shore is Port Angeles, Washington, about 17 miles down a scenic mountain road.
