Saddlebag Lake is the highest lake in the Sierra Nevada, one can drive to at 10,093 feet above sea level. It is located near the top of Tioga Pass, two miles from Highway 120. It is part of the "20 Lakes Basin" which is appropriately named and popular with backpackers.
