Photographer's Note
The French Quarters in New Orleans comes alive at night: the swing of jazz and windows of strippers, lights down filigreed balconies overhung with vines, the balmy air from the gulf winds down crowded streets awash with wine and brews.

Hi Aminesh,
In this world of super sharp digital clarity, an image like this is underappreciated, the colours are sumptous, the imperfections and blur give a sense of the real chaos of the night, after all, life is not clean and orderly like a postcard, this is more like the world we see.
Cheers

Hello Animesh,
Besides giving a very "snap shot" feeling, this one obviously has the touch of a versatile photographer.
The reds & darks in there, the random but very well distributed compo (which is the evidence of a perfect timing) are top notch. At the end of the day, i am especially struck with the "Shiva Nataraja" at the gate. Am i dreaming?
Cheers,
Deniz

Hi Animesh,
That blue light on the window and the haze all over gives a sense of night life.

Hi Animesh,
I concur what Juzo said about the real world, and your image just expresses it out fine. Life is not like postcard neat, in order and beautiful. Life is imperfection most of the time.
Anna
