Photographer's Note

Positioned near the shore of Lake Michigan, the Lincoln Park Conservatory (1.2 ha / 3 acres) is a conservatory and botanical garden in Lincoln Park in Chicago, Illinois.

I never thought that I'll see brazilian plants there, but there were many, including jabuticaba tree (Plinia cauliflora, the Brazilian grapetree) full of fruits (that I love).

Here I show flowers of Nymphaeaceae family plants, commonly known as water-lilies. Nymphaeaceae has 23 native species in Brazil.
