Photographer's Note
The Joshua Tree at center right lept from behind the palo verde tree just in time to photobomb my shot.
At the eastern edge of the Tres Alamos Wilderness of the Black Mountains there is a mix of almost all of Arizona's desert vegetation. The location also borders the northwest edge of Arizona's southern Joshua Tree forest.
