Wood Lizard, a photo from Texas, Sud

Photographer's Note

This photo was taken using my new Digital Rebel, and using a friends 75-300mm zoom, was trying it out and saw this wood lizard and took a few shots of it. When I was a little girl, these lizards were common, haven't seen them much anymore. Hope you like it.

Wow..that´s what i call camuflage ;)) Wonderful especimen you captured Daisy..the colors are wonderful too..too bad the focus was not centered on its head, but i guess that would be dificult here. Anyway a good capture :)

Cool how he blends right in with the colors and textures of the wood. I wish he was a little clearer, or you'd been a little closer, but I understand the difficulty trying to capture one of these quick little guys. Nice green background. Added to my Lizards! theme.

Well captured this difficult subject to see let alone get a picture does suffer with a bit of soft focus, experience with the camera will solve that as you get to know it better, keep them coming.
